A collective of industry professionals, musicians, fans and supporters, Jazz Coalition identifies global needs affecting the jazz and improvised music community, and strategizes response solutions and opportunities towards action.
MISSION
Jazz Coalition aims to unite the global jazz community by welcoming all industry professionals, musicians, and supporters into an inclusive network. In an effort to boost collective morale during the COVID-19 pandemic, Jazz Coalition is mobilizing to support artists by commissioning the creation of new works. These commissions will become a new canon of music representing our collective resilience moving us all forward.

Support musicians and Become a Jazz Coalition member by registering with a minimum contribution of $100. Please give more if you can, to maximize our overall impact.
Coalition members have the privilege to nominate artists to be considered as recipients of the Commission Fund. Selected from the list of nominees through a jury process, grantees will receive $1000 commissions to create new work.
Artists will premiere their works at Jazz Coalition partner venues, when live concert assembly restrictions are eventually lifted.
Jazz Coalition members who are hosting streaming shows online will be featured through this site and supported through our social media channels.
Jazz Coalition members are encouraged to recruit fellow colleagues and potential supporters to join the team and help grow the Commission Fund further.
All Jazz Coalition contributions are processed through the 501(c)(3) organization Search & Restore, and are fully tax deductible.
